why does victor refuse to make a female monster? do you feel he is justified in his refusal?

Victor does not want to create another creature like the monster. He has already spent much of the book trying to absolve himself of his hideous creation. Making another creature would only repeat his sin upon the world and God. You really have to feel for the creature. I see Victor's point but really he should get back in his lab and do it one more time. He owes the creature even though it killed his family. I forgot about that! Still, he should give the creature a break. I think he should give him his mate on Valentine's day!
