Rescued by a sea captain, Frankenstein relays the events of his adulthood that began with his quest to create life. Unfortunately, once he accomplishes what he believes to be his purpose, he is immediately regretful of the monster he has created. Frankenstein turns his back on what he believes to be an abomination, and deserts what he has created.... leaving the monster confused, isolated, and unloved. Eventually this drives the monster to seek vengeance against Frankenstein and everyone he loves, until finally, everything that ever meant anything to Victor is destroyed.
