Ch: 2 What traits can you give Vandara by evidence from the story?

Vandara was a highly respected and feared woman in the village. She is described as "tall and muscular, with long, tangled hair pulled back roughly and tied with a thong at the back of her neck. Her eyes were dark, and her direct look pierced any calmness that Kira might have felt. The ragged scar that marked her chin and continued down her neck to her broad shoulder was said to be a remnant of a long-ago battle with one of the forest creatures."

Vandara was influetial and the other women followed her lead. She made no attempt to hide her contempt for Kira.
