This is a dystopia of sorts where most people are genetically engineered for optimum physical traits. Those born "the normal way", are considered inferior and relegated to the bottom of the social hierarchy. Many of the "new breed" of people look down on people like Vincent. Vincent is driven to compete these "superior" people at any cost.
