Everyone it seems. The wife, Catharina, is jealous of Griet. Johannes is jealous of Pieter and vice versa. Van Ruijven is jealous of Vermeer, because he wants Griet for himself. Wasn't Griet's mother jealous of the Vermeers' wealth?
