After visiting Satin House, why does Pip feel ashamed?

Once Pip is exposed to the upper class life of Miss Havisham, he begins to reject his family, and be ashamed of his home. Pip feels guilty that he is embarrassed by Joe's behavior and the way in which he's been raised.
