Great Expectations
At the close of Chapter 21 that Pip has regrets about his visit with Joe. What evidence is there to support this and why does this tell us about Pip’s character?

You are on Chapter 27 here. Pip is really depressed when Joe leaves. Pip is angry with himself for being everything he loathes. Pip runs to look for Joe,
"As soon as I could recover myself sufficiently, I hurried out after him and looked for him in the neighboring streets; but he was gone."
I think Pip is still Pip inside, he hasn't changed. He is just learning to grow up and see the truth.
