Describe Pip’s initial reaction to Magwitch. Does his attitude toward the man change? What does this say about Pip?

Pip is initially horrified. He quickly seems to change his mind, however, and decides to pass Magwitch off as his uncle. He bought Magwitch new clothes, but the more he did, the more unsure he became. Magwitch, however, made himself right at home.

"The imaginary student pursued by the misshapen creature he had impiously made, was not more wretched than I, pursued by the creature who had made me, and recoiling from him with a stronger repulsion, the more he admired me and the fonder he was of me."
