How are Estella and Biddy opposite?

 Biddy is nurturing and down to earth. She is accepting and reserves judgment. Her priorities are love and family above status and material success. Estella on the other hand was adopted by the rich Mrs. Havisham. Estella is reserved and has a taste for status and the finer things in life. Biddy ends up marrying Joe. They are not rich but they are happy. Estella chases status and ends up a shell of her former self.
