How does Pip help Herbert?

Yes, once Pip gets control of his own money at 21, he becomes a "secret benefactor" to Herbert as Magwitch has been for him. But he also helps Herbert by staying at his friend, by helping him heal after their escapades in the last section of the novel, and then by working for his firm in his later years.
