I'm going to assume you're asking about the setting of London after Pip's fortune's change, and he becomes a so-called gentleman. At this point...... everything changes. Gone are the prisons and dirty inns; his life changes completely.
Considering himself a gentleman, Pip no longer frequents anything that would connect him to the past he'd like to forget or the embarrassment of ever having hung out in those places. Even when he returns home for a visit, he avoids the house that sheltered him and the man who loved him like a father to stay at the inn..... he's a bit too big for his britches.
London life becomes a string of parties and bad behavior. It is also the beginning of his downfall and loss of common sense and humility.
I meant how does the SETTING (i.e. their surroundings) play a role in the characters behavior...
