How have Pip's expectations changed? What does he expect now?

I think Pip has grown into a mature human being. His expectations no longer surround the illusion of being a gentleman rather he sees what is import an in life. Pip expects to make good on the people he really loves and cares for. He expects to become a man of moral substance rather than mere monitary worth. Pip has also given up the illusion of romance, especially if romance is connected to wealth and stature.
