Pip is convinced that Orlick is the culprit in Mrs. Joe’s assault. Pip convinces Jaggers to fire Orlick because he doesn’t trust him. Orlick eventually links up with Compeyson and lures Pip to a sluice-house where he plans to kill him. Pips anger seems justified to me.
