The Railway Children

Roberta is twelve years old.

The shutters were shut and there were twelve candles on the table, one for each of Roberta’s years.

I do not see evidence of the other children's ages. Roberta is the oldest of the three children. Peter is the middle child, and Phyllis is the youngest.
