Great Expectations
Three ways Abel Magwitch is corrupted by wealth?
They can come from any part of the book
They can come from any part of the book
I really don't see the corruption because of wealth. Sure Magwitch is a criminal but stealing is what criminals do. In that sense he is corrupted. Like Jaggers, Magwitch does his fair share of helping the less fortunate. Case in point, he is Pip's benefactor. Magwitch has a kind heart and actually isn't particularly interested in money. I know this isn't what you wanted but Dickens rarely made his characters simple.
