Page 303~ Actually led into overspending by Pip, Herbert has indulged in things he had no money to pay for.

"My lavish habits led his easy nature into things he could not afford, corrupted the simplicity of his life, and disturbed his peace with anxiety and regrets."

Sorry, this is the only example I can find for Herbert. He's really a good guy.
