Throughout the book there are examples of pip as an adult narrator looking back. Why do you think Dicken's included the adult's perspective, instead of just the child's?

Pip, as we all do,  grows up and changes as a person. His perspective on becoming a gentleman as well as on the people in his life matures and changes. This way we can see our protagonist grow with the story.
