why does pip get angry with Biddy after Mrs. Joe's funeral?

I don't know if he is really angry. He asks her why she had not kept him appraised of the goings on, "Biddy," said I, "I think you might have written to me about these sad matters." The tone of his question seems more matter of fact than anything else. They discuss Orlick and his possible connection with the death of Mrs. Joe. Here we see a more tender moment as Biddy expresses her earnestness to Pip,
