A vein of humour runs through the whole of the part 1.Describe some funny situations.

It is important to note that much of the humour through part one and the whole novel is fueled by biting satire. The Lilliputians are tiny which is funny in itself. They are also ridiculous in their social and political habits. They, for example, have to perform silly tricks to gain public office. Swift of course is satirizing England's own sense of politics and identity.
