Part 3
Gulliver describes Captain Robinson as honest, kind, and generous. We have to question Robinson's sense of caution, however, when he decides to send a small group of men on a sloop with trade goods meant to defray the cost of his stay at Tonquin. The sloop was heavily burdened, and thus, slow moving, something that put the men in the precarious position of the possibilty they's be overrun by a bigger, faster ship..... which they were. The sloop, and the men aboard, was captured by pirates.
