Q2. Pedro De Mendez emerges to be one of the most attractive characters of the book. Comment ?

Don Pedro de Mendez is the Portuguese captain who discovers Gulliver on the island and talks him into returning to England. His intervention is directly responsible in preventing Gulliver from going through with suicide. He offers a listening ear and an outlet for Gulliver's anger. He also encourages Gulliver to go home to his wife and children. Mendez is an upstanding man in every way.
