I thought Munodi is a person. This guy is a pretty minor character. He, however, is an example of individual though in a very conformist world. The population of Lagado is pretty stupid. They consume their time with idiotic endeavors. They try to extract sunbeams from cucumbers or eliminate all verbs and adjectives from their language. Lord Munodi is different. He is concerned with practical applications of knowledge. Unlike other citizens, he is kind to Gulliver and humble in both accomplishments and opinions. He is able to think critically which surprises Gulliver because the others seem think and act in the opposite way.
