Why did the dwarf harbour illwill against Gulliver . what did he do to give expressions to his feelings

The dwarf hated Gulliver because he (Gulliver) usurped his position as the smallest person in Brobdingnag. The King and especially the Queen seem quite taken with Gulliver which makes the dwarf jealous.
