At this point Hamlet is lashing out at all the main characters he perceives as remiss in the play. Unfortunately Hamlet paints Ophelia, and all women, with the same brush. Hamlet's obsession with his mother’s sexual habits extends to Ophelia as well. His mocking of Ophelia is very much the mocking of his mother. He belittles Ophelia's virtue as he does his mother's.
