Act 3, Scene 2

My daughter has to perform a monologue from hamlet act 3 scene 2. Neither one of us are familiar with anything that involves Shakespeare. Can someone please let me know the emotion behind that scene what exactly is it about? I have adhd and she has add so reading it in the context it's in is extremely hard for us to comprehend. Any info on how to perform this scene would be great. She has to do this in order to get excepted in the highschool she applied for. Thank you all in advanced for your help.
