Compare Polonius’s concern over Ophelia’s relationship with Hamlet with the concern expressed by Laertes.

Polonius and Laertes advise Ophelia in much the same way. They both tell her that a relationship with Hamlet is next to impossible because of his position at court. They also each warn her to guard her innocence and live chastely.
