Hamlet stabbed Polonius through a curtain when Polonius

When Polonius was listening behind the curtains in the queen's chambers. Polonius thought Hamlet was hurting the queen and tried to alert guards for help. Thinking that Polonius was the King, Hamlet stabbed him through the curtains.
