How did Laertes's words to Ophelia about Hamlet relate to what Polonius said to her about Hamlet?

Basically Laertes and tells his sister (Ophelia) a similar warning as does Polonius: stay away from Hamlet. They both feel Hamlet is using her and that he will dispose of her once he has gotten what he wants (Sex).
