how is pathos created in this scene for hamlet? ophelia?

I believe the created pathos occurs in Scene 3. In this scene, Ophelia's father tells her that she mustn't spend any more time with Hamlet. For Ophelia, this is the worst thing she can think of. She loves Hamlet deeply, but her father is in control, and she is deeply torn between her love for both men.
