Sure, the disorder begins right at the beginning of Act 1 scene 1. The guards have seen a ghost in the form of the late King Hamlet Sr. Ghosts in Elizabethan times were not a good sign. It meant that the soul still has unfinished business. Ghosts represent a disorder that is reflected in the state as well. The order of the Elizabethan universe has been altered, God's natural order has been disturbed in some way. We later find out that indeed Uncle Claudius killed Hamlet Sr. for his throne and the love of his most "seemingly virtuous queen". Hamlet, by the end of the act, feels that he has been charged with the task of putting things back into order, "That ever I was born to set it right!"
