Hamlet
was ophelia an obedient daughter?
.
.
Ophelia was an obedient daughter simply because she didn't have a choice. She belonged to her father until the time she gets married, then she belongs to her husband. Ophelia does her father's bidding and in the process is taken advantage of by many characters in the play, including Hamlet. Ophelia is obedient even at the expense of her own sanity.
