Hamlet

What are these two characters feeling at this point?

When Hamlet follows the ghost into the darkness, Horatio, even though he has seen the ghost, says “He waxes desperate with imagination,” and Marcellus states that “something is rotten in the state of Denmark.” What are these two characters feeling at this point in the play? (ps: thank for the previous answered, I will have a few question about Hamlet trough out the day, hopefully you can answer them all :) )

Horatio worries about Hamlet's mental state. He worries that Hamlet is trusting this ghost to be what it says it is. Marcellus thinks that the appearance of the ghost means something bad is festering in Denmark. He thinks that there have been some bad things that have been going on in Denmark that they are not yet privy to.
