What are some things you can infer about marlow?

Marlow is a heroic character who keeps himself on the outside of the colonial structures he believes to be oppressive. Example- He thinks for himself rather than following along blindly with the rest of the group.

Marlow is curious and easily entralled by the unknown. Example- Marlow becomes obsessive about Kurtz's character wihout ever having known him.

Marlow demands authority and subservience. Example- Unlike Kurtz, Marlow has no qualms about using force to implement his authority.
