Henry V's lack of control? I'm not sure what you mean here. Shakespeare's Henry V is actually a pretty accurate expose of a King who'd experienced a great religious conversion. He was great fun in his youth, but after his conversion piety reigned. He was a great husband who loved his wife, and he was generous to opposing forces in war. In fact, the most brutal punishments he extracted were the punishments of his own soldiers when they neglected to behave with decency.
If your "lack of control" refers to Henry's excessive piety; he was indeed probably more than fanatical, but I've never felt that Shakespeare's telling of the tale even touched the iceberg on that issue!
