Some conquerors have been unable to use "just weapons " to overcome. They had to find another way. Explain with at least two specific examples.

This is a pretty broad question that can include many examples. This is only a short answer forum but I can mention a few. Hannibal had overcome the opposition of the native tribes by either fear or bribes. Diplomacy was also sometime used, as wars were expensive endeavors.
