Holes

"Holes" is a very significant title as it applies in a few different ways. As you already stated, there are the holes the boys dig. There is also the hole Stanley digs in order to find fresh water, the treasure the boys find at th bottom of a hole, and most important of all, the hole in Stanley's life before arriving at Camp Green Lake.
