Describe the effectivnessof 1.23 as a seduction poem?

I don't know how effective the seduction is in Ode 23, but we definitely see an attempt to soothe and acquire trust. Chloe is young and inexperienced, nervous and excited, frightened and curious. This attempt at seduction seems to me more of an attempt to garner trust prior to seducution.
