Christ-Figure: Usually a person who reflects the attributes of Christ. An example might be the character of Simon in William Golding's Lord of the Flies.

Satan-Figure: Representing evil or chaos.

Job and innocent suffering- a character who suffers as to no fault of their own. They often bear this suffering with humble dignity.
