3.On page 171, what important lesson does David learn?

I see no evidence of a lesson on pg. 171, but our page numbers may not match. In this section, David is planning and enacts his escape from the farmer... he learns that he can overcome difficulties, that he can depend upon God's promises, and that he has a friend in King (the dog).
