Chapter 20: Who is Malala?- Malala goes into great detail about the day she was shot. Why do you think she does so?

The story of Malala is important in its entirety, to leave out the horrors she experienced when shot on the school bus would have defeated her purpose. We're meant to understand the atrocitied, be shocked by them, be appalled..... for people to "see" what is happening, even if it's only through the words of a survivor is the only way we can truly be made aware.
