Malala's words support her stance of the importance for girls to receive an education and her belief in women's rights. Malala addresses the separation of the boys and the girls in schools, the differences in curriculum, and the difference between her mother's childhood and her own. Her mother is illiterate.
Pakistani women aren't allowed outside of their homes without a male chaperone. The girls she goes to school with are more often than not married at very young ages because their male family members deem it proper...... others feel it improper for them to be attending school.
