I suppose the mistress was trying to teach Julia a valuable lesson in standing up for herself. Unfortunately the lesson was taught in a rather cruel way. It would have been better if the mistress had taken Julia in her confidence rather than put on this charade. I hope Julia got her money in the end!
Well i think that it was a good way but also harsh but at the end the Mistress taught Julia to speak up for herself and thats important.And she did give her the money which is 80 rubles
