how does angelou describe resistance against racism
Angelou would be considered a moderately reliable narrator. The novel is written from her own perspective, but it is also written from memory. As an adult, Angelou had the opportunity to analyze events, something that might change them to a certain degree when see through adult eyes.
There are two memorable instances in which Angelou resists racism. The first comes when she decides to break her white employer's family china. The other incident that stands out for me was when she became the first black streetcar conductor in San Francisco.
