Where does Maya end up living when she leaves her dad?

After having problems with Dolores, Maya spends a night sleeping in a car at the junkyard where she meets a bunch of kids doing the same. The junkyard is almost like a small commune..... they have their own cars (for sleeping), work for a bit of extra money, and share what they have between everyone. She stays at the junkyard for about one month.
