Why does Achilles drag Hector's body around Patroclus' tomb every morning? Does this show us a side of Achilles we have not seen before, or does this Achilles seem to be the same man we saw in book 22? From Book 24

Achilles loved Patroclus. Patrolus' death was what brought Achilles back into the war. Achilles grief was so great that he found comfort in abusing Hector's body. Even the gods were disturbrd by his actions.
