I'm the King of the Castle

1. What clues show that Kingshaw feels alone when he is climbing the castle with Hooper, like he can't escape Hooper or the adults?

"Outside of the castle, he could see the flat grass and the lake, and his mother and Mr Hooper, sitting on their bench at the far side. He felt high above them, very tall and strong, and safe, too, nobody could touch him. He thought, this is all right, I don’t care about any of them here, they can’t do anything at all to me, I don’t care, I don’t care. He felt light- headed, exulting in the freedom of it. If he reached his arm up, he might touch the sky."
