. How did Perry feel after the murders, and how did Dick respond?

Perry struggles with his role in the Clutter murders. He laments that, "There's got to be something wrong with somebody who'd do something like that." Perry has flashbacks of emotional trauma over what he has done. Dick merely tries to distance himself from the murders and keep his future in perspective.
