Through pages 87-100, discuss the tension between Dick and Perry after the murder
Dick and Perry have differing opinions of whether or not the crime can be trace back to them. They argue the fact, with Perry worrying, and Dick's continued self-assuredness. Perry can't eat.... Dick can't get enough. Perry wants to absorb the news.... Dick wants nothing to do with it. The two men bond together long enough to pass bad checks and accrue enough money to get to Mexico. Dick becomes his old self again, something that endears him to Perry, who enjoys being ordered around by his partner in crime. When Dick says it's time to leave because there isn't any work to be had.... they leave.
