Perry was diagnosed as a paranoid schizophrenic. So this is really an ethical question. The court should ask one simple question. Was Perry aware of what he was doing at the time of the murders. The answer is yes. The home invasion was planned ahead of time. I don't believe Perry wasn't cognizant of what he was doing at the time.
