Why does Minerva stop her friend from injuring/killing Trujillo?

Actually, Minerva doesn't stop Sinita from injuring Trujillo. Ramfis, Trujillo's son, is the one who grabs the bow she is pointing at his father. Minerva distracts everyone else by chanting "¡Viva Trujillo!", which diffuses the situation.
